At King Fire Protection Services we are very conscious of making people aware of the importance of fire safety and of course fire awareness. What if the items are damaged by the carrier?
Please check delivered items as soon as possible as, although they are well packaged, accidents can happen in transit. Please check your order within 24hrs of its delivery in order for us to validate and log a claim for replacement.
My service company says that proper safety equipment cannot be sold for such low prices!
We are not surprised as they have probably been selling theirs at four times our price for that last few years. Our extinguishers have every necessary approval and are extremely high quality. So, why not just use them for the annual service and buy new ones from us when needed? Dig out an old invoice and compare the prices to see just how much cheaper we are!
What do the fire extinguisher classifications mean?
Fires are classified according to the type of fuel that is burning. If you use the wrong type of fire extinguisher on a fire, you can, in fact, worsen the situation. It is therefore very important to understand the four different fire classifications.
Where can I store fire extinguishers?
All our fire extinguishers come with brackets to fit them to a wall or mount them to a vehicle.
Can the fire extinguishers be re-filled?
Yes, all fire extinguishers provided by King Fire Protection Services can be easily re-filled. The fire extinguishers feature standard fittings and standard re-fills can be used.
Are fire extinguishers provided through King Fire fully charged?
Yes, all fire extinguisher come fully charged and are secured with an anti-tamper tag.
Do your fire extinguishers carry any official logos?
The fire extinguishers we provide are all 'Firebox' units and are certified products that carry the BSI and JAS-ANZ logos, two marks that ensure you receive the highest quality products that are tested to the highest Australian Standards
Are your fire extinguishers officially certified for use in Australia?
Yes - Certification is done by officially accredited certification bodies who are approved by the 'Joint Accreditation System' for Australia and indeed New Zealand (JAS-ANZ). Right now there are two officially accredited bodies providing certification of fire extinguishers for Australia and New Zealand.
